Oatmeal with Kisses

SERVES 4

Last Christmas, the breakfast menu for my family of 26 included this special twist on hot oatmeal. It can be difficult to entice the grandkids to eat oatmeal for breakfast, so I decided to place a Hershey’s chocolate kiss at the bottom of each bowl. They loved it, and so did their parents! Don’t forget to unwrap the chocolate kiss.

1½ cups milk

1½ cups oatmeal

½ teaspoon salt

4 chocolate kisses

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Mini chocolate chips to sprinkle over the top (optional)
